The B.C.R.P.A. is the official governing body of fitness professionals within the Province of B.C. and is mandated with ensuring Registered Personal Trainers meet or excced industry standards and annual continuing education requirements are satisfied.
In accordance with regulations, Body Works Health And Fitness Inc carries mandatory Personal Trainers insurance and carries a CRD intermunicipal business license.

WHAT IS THE SCOPE OF SERVICES PROVIDED BY A PERSONAL FITNESS TRAINER?
Scope of services include:

initial health screening including par-q
-
utilization of screening and fitness assessments,
-
performing body composition profiles,
-
helping to clarify and establish short, mid and long term goals,
-
design of strength, conditioning and cardiovascular training programs,
-
provide training equipment orientations,
-
provide proper technique of various exercises for best performance and safety,
-
instruct and monitor fitness programs for toning, strength training, cardio, crosstraining and flexibility programs,
-
providing nutrition guidelines, and
-
monitoring program progress and provide modification of programs to help ensure client goals are being met.
All client routines are customized, and updated as required and follow standards and methodology of the National Academy of Sports Medicine (N.A.S.M.) as well as the National Strength And Conditioning Association (N.S.C.A.)
If you're looking for help starting a new fitness plan we can begin with a body composition assessment to establish a benchmark followed by specific assessments for muscle imbalances. We can then move onto general fitness tests for cardio and strength which collectively will be the basis for your individualized fitness program, to move you safely to your fitness goals.
